I'm using article writing too. But they don't seem to be very effective in driving traffic. How's your experience?

The most important in article writting is the content. If your content is good and unique, it will eventually draws traffic. However good and unique content are difficult to think of and it require alot of research.

And yes i do agree that good article depend very much on content and if others can learn something from it.

I use article marketing as one of my traffic generating tools... but there is more to article marketing than just submitting your articles to article directories. Yes the content should be good but it also needs to be keyword rich. Decide what keywords your blog is fighting for, list them out (check out your competition re these keywords) and then write articles which include these keywords. Many of the article directories have a space for "tags" or keywords.

You don't have to be Pulitzer Prize writer ... just write content that is of value. Read your article yourself and then ask what value you got out of it. If the answer is none, go back and rewrite, if the answer is yes, then identify the "value" by writing in out for yourself. This will get you thinking value content versus just publishing.

I am new in this forum. I like to shar my experience in article marketing. Lately
lately I submitted several articles to one article directory ezinearticle.com and
noted there are some traffic from it.
I spend about one hour for an article ( I think is too much time ). Can anyone share any software to rewrite article and submit to article directories

Besides those mentioned, one very effective way to drive traffic to your site
is comment in members on forums like this one. Get every members to click
on each others link. It will create a backlink to your site. The url from this

I think free submissions and two way link exchanges with quality websites are too most effective ways of getting traffic.
