I am a little disappointed, while reading through this forum.

After having read the eBook, and being ready to set up a blog for real life testing the content, I have some questions I would like answers to before setting off.

I am wondering if it has any use to ask questions here, because this forum seems like a ghost town.

Prove me wrong, but from what I have seen so far, almost every post remain unanswered - by other members and by Alvin......

I am sure the intention of setting up a forum has been to build a sort of support center, but with no activity / no comments / no help, a forum like this is not doing any good. Not to the customers and most certainly not to the business.

I am now going to ask the first of my questions, so now is your chance to prove me wrong ;)

Alvin, in you eBook you claim the best time to post is between 9am and 12pm. That is of course great knowledge, but what do you actually mean by that?

Is it your time (far East), my time (central Europe), or the time of my primary readership (USA) ?

:)

Hi Michael,

I am new here also. I read that in the ebook and you ask a great question about tinme zone. All I can say is type the answer in Google and see how many replies you get.

When I post I just post...I expect my keyword to reach the interested reader at some point. Not sure about the noon hour unless people are at work checking their emails and RSS.

Wish I can help..maybe I will do some testing on the best time to post certainly makes a great article title with a little research...

G'day mates,

Alvin DID say on his sales page for Atomic Blogger 3.0:

I want to make a million dollars by the end of 2009!

So I guess he's real busy working on making that million bucks ;)

Having run a few forums in my time and made a point to answer "every" query put to "me", I can tell you...answering queries can become a full-time job! It can take-up so much of your time that you get nothing else done.
Working long hours answering queries can also effect your health! I know from experence! Two heart attacks in two years.

I "think" the post time of between 9am and 12pm would apply "wherever" you reside...I'm in Australia and my postman always delivers between 9am and 12pm ;)

Cheers mates,

Bill...Shogun

On my blogs, I try to schedule the post time of articles around 6:00 - 8:00 am central US time and around 6:00 pm central US time.

The 6am - 8am time targets people when they are getting up in the morning, and might check my blog before they go to work, or after they get to work.

The 6:00pm targets people that might check my blog after they get home from work.
