Nice colors, but I would get rid of the light blue background. Make it contrast a little more by making the main background black, or a darker blue.

The blue tabs at the top have a second row - that does not look very professional.

The recent forum post in the right column might need to be brought up towards the top of the page. And I would increase the number of recent post from 5 to 10 - that way it stands out a little more.

The colors of the forum are not very pleasing to the eye. It all just seems to blend in together.

The design is nice and clean, navigation is easy too. My main issue is with the consistency of your message. You call it Lonely Man's Journal, but on your About page you say you are not truly a lonely man...that sends a confusing message to the reader.

Also, the header image you use is a real downer, it doesn't make me want to stick around the site. Maybe try something with some hope in it.

Other than that I read over some of your content and think you have a good topic to write about and expand upon.
